Introduction
Founded in 1965, Friedman Industries (Nasdaq: FRD) operates eight U.S. facilities specializing in steel processing, distribution, and tubular products. Our seven flat-rolled coil processing facilities produce hot-rolled sheet and plate from 16 gauge to 1 inch thick and 36 to 96 inches wide. The recent acquisition of Century Metals in Miami, FL, provides slitting and cut-to-length services for cold-rolled, coated, stainless, aluminum, and brass products. Our tubular division in Lone Star, TX, operates two API-licensed ERW pipe mills producing pipe sizes from 2 3/8 to 8 5/8 inches in diameter.
